Merlyn Johnson and High School Principal Jon Johnson were awarded Doctor of Education Degrees from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO during a ceremony on May 15. Dr. Merlyn Johnson and Dr. Jon Johnson, along with seven other educators from various districts across southern Missouri, completed their doctoral studies at Lindenwood's campus in West Plains. Both dissertations focused on student academic achievement using data results designed to improve instructional practices within school districts.
