Our Princess Tea Party on May 16th was as much fun for the little princesses as it was for us "older" ones. Fourteen little girls were transformed into "princesses-for-a-day" while having tea and Betty Jo Bandy cookies together in fancy party attire and tiaras. They practiced walking like a princess and holding their tea cups with their "pinky" out before Madison Horner, Miss Texas County Outstanding Teen, visited and showed them the princess wave and read them stories about princesses. This special party is an annual event and sponsored by the Summersville Friends of the Library.
