Stolen Car Damages Building on Square

On June 15, Summersville Officer Dusty Goforth received a report of extensive damage done to a building on North Main owned by Commuity Bank, NA. It appeared that a vehicle had collided with the front of the building. Officer Goforth also received a report from a Summersville resident that his vehicle, a 1986 Monte Carlo, was stolen sometime late in the evening of June 14 or early morning June 15. Officer Goforth took both reports. The vehicle was later recovered five miles North of Summersville in a field off Highway JJ.
It was later determined by Officer Goforth that the owner of the vehicle, the reporting party of the stolen car, was responsible for the damage to the building. It was reported the

Fire Departments Holds Food Auction

TCMH Donates to Houston Athletic Department
