SCCC Students Win in Competitions

Four students from the South Central Career Center/West Plains High School Senior FCCLA program attended the National FCCLA leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas July 2-11. Three students competed in STAR Events (students taking action for recognition) and received Gold rankings. Since the chapters affiliation as an FCCLA chapter in 1999, the program has had a total of eight students earn the honor to compete at National STAR events. This year is the first year the program received gold ranking, making it a huge milestone to leave the conference with three gold awards. April York also attended the conference as the Region 9 Missouri State Vice-President of Elections. April represented the state of Missouri as their lead voting delegate in the 2014 national elections.

    Sportsman Club Holds Championship Meet
