The Bank of Birch Tree, Bowden Insurance, and the surrounding community will celebrate the third annual Loggers Day and Patriotic Tribute Event Saturday, September 11 from 12:00-7:00 p.m. in downtown Birch Tree.

There will be concessions and live music. Logging competitions, booths, displays, food and much more will fill out the days events. A parade of log trucks and machinery will close the celebration at 5 PM. Live on stage will be Colonel Eric Lewis and Bluegrass Expedition from 12-2 PM, and Johnny Patton from 2 - 6 PM. A Patriotic tribute will be featured from 1:30-2:30 PM. A silent auction will also be a part of the celebration.

The 2010 Bull of the Woods and Green Horn trophies will be presented to the top loggers of the year.
